चिता दहति निर्जीवम्, चिन्ता दहति जीवितम् ॥

chintayastu chitayastu bindu mataram visheshatah.

chita dahati neerjivam, cheenta dahatee jiveetam.

 

Meaning  by words :

चिन्ता – worry   ,   चिता – pyre   ,   बिन्दु  – Dot   ,   विशेशतः – difference

दहति – burns   ,   निर्जीवम् – dead   ,   जीवितम् – Living

 

Chinta (worry) is like chita (pyre) they differ by dot (‘n’ in their spellings) .

Chita (pyre) burns dead, Chinta (worry) burns Living.

 

Actual Meaning :

Writer says worry is like pyre there is only little difference (writer creates double way meaning) the difference of dot in their writing pattern in Hindi language [चिंता & चिता] and another one is; pyre burns dead but worry burns (make you feel like burning) Living beings.

na hee suptasya sinhasya pravishyanti mukham mrugaha.

प्र + विश् – to enter   ,   मुख – mouth   ,   मृग – deer

मनोरथ – wish   ,     सिंह – lion

 

work is accomplished by efforts not by wishing.

deer do not enter in the mouth of sleeping lion.

 

Actual Meaning :

Writer want encourage the reader , Taking efforts is the only way to accomplish any work. Writer warns that only wishing is not gonna do anything. He gives example , Deer do not enter in the mouth of sleeping lion , Lion have to do efforts to get his food that is Deer.

not a Horse , not an Elephant and never a tiger.

the kid of Goat is sacrified, God is betrayer of weak.

 

Actual Meaning :

writer says (about the mammals which are used as a food) not a horse, not an Elephant, and never the tiger is used as food by  Humans. but the kids of Goats are used as food, God is so unfair who betrays weak by the means of humans and others.
